H&M’s latest creative blow
H&M guarantees for innovative styles, not only in their clothing collections, but also in their website applications and design.
The Swedish company surprises their online users with ever-changing, cleverly designed online projects, microsites and gimmicks.
The last interactive surprise was the presentation of this year’s spring collection, which included an online catwalk with live clothes change (see).
H&M’s new campaign „fashion against aids“ surely measures up. The idea was to cooperate with various international musicians, who had the job to design a key piece for H&M’s collection.
Interactivity comes into play if you take a look at the campaign’s web presentation. The Fashion against aids section is furnished with digital representations of all star designers, wearing their own creations.
At first sight the stars look like a paperdoll cut out from a magazine, but if you take your time, you see that the pictures move if you mouse over them - not a picture, but a video representation.
The fashion against aids section surprises with other additional features like „create an avatar“ and „create your own music video and ringtone“. The new microsite is definitely worth a look, no matter if you’re interested in the clothes, or in the website’s design.
