They are well known all over the world, they appear in computer games or virtual worlds, but since Second Life they almost gained celebrity status : avatars. Avatars are virtual representations of real persons who act in the Computer World either in form of three dimensional figures for games or two dimensional pictures used in Internet forums.

Speechagents.com uses the concept of avatars in another way, as presenters on websites. The avatars are animated talking characters, as the name indicates animated representatations of real persons who are able to speak.

Speechagent offers this animations for free on his websites, the user can choose from 9 different characters and various backgrounds.

As a last step you have to provide the text, the virtual charcter should speak on your website. In the free version you can insert up to 600 signs in a small text box. Afterwards you generate the code block for your character and paste the code block into your site and voila your character is operating.

If you pay $7.95 monthly ($79.50 per year) you get a complete service package, including unlimited characters, unlimited streams, e-mail support and ad-free characters.
