Little avatar figure explains the world of UPS
Basically it’s a simple as that: You just want to send a package to a friend in a country far away, but you don’t exactly know how much it will cost, how long it will take and how to keep an eye on your shipment.
The little UPS widget is a funny and useful solution to get all the information you need right on your desktop. This animated figure with its cute big eyes and head is waiting for you to click on one of the few items on the desk. Each of those items gives you information about a specific topic. The package for example shows you how to ship from your desktop while the magnifying glass will give you information on how to keep an eye on your shipment.

Every time you click on one of the items your little friend will run to them, jump on them, use them or even bring them to you. When you click on the writing pad in the middle of the desk it opens another section where you can choose between various short webshows. They look like they were scribbled on a piece of paper and animated afterwards. This contrast makes watching them even more entertaining.
The main feature, of course, is the download link to get your little pal right on desktop from where you can now easily overlook all your shipments, packages and costs.
The idea for this website is smart and entertaining – giving customers an interactive show instead of just a FAQ list is definitely a plus - and the animated figure is just adorable.

Keying is a visual effects technique, which allows to seperate a certain part of an image from its background. For exonple, an actor is filmed against a colored background, usually green or blue. These colors are considered to be the furthest away from the skin tone. The background then gets erased so that the actor can be put in front of any other background, whether it's a picture or a video (the actor has been "keyed"). The process of putting [...]Humans Online :: Web Speaker
