Cooperation with sexappeal
Adidas guarantees for good ideas, in clothing design and manufacturing, as well as in the creation of new concepts for online marketing. This was visible in several online applications, for example the, campaign for the Y-3 collection (see: Internet Advertising :: Digital Animation).
Right now, Adidas is on the plan with a new idea - what happens if you combine a sportswear brand and a handful of New Zealand Rugby players? The jersey swap.
In the beginning, there is to say, that it looks as if this gimmick was solely designed to address the female part of the population. So, how does it work – you get a choice of 5 players, from which you can select two and let them swap their jerseys. The nice side effect is that you get to see their well build upper bodies. As extra, you have the slo mo function, which allows you to see the swap again in close up.

But now let’s turn to the technical side of things. This production meets the latest digital internet standards - the project is realized with keyed film elements of the different players. Every player is recorded inside a green box, afterwards the footage material is keyed, which makes the borderless integration on the website possible.
The jersey swap is definitely worth a look, even if you’re not familiar with New Zealand Rugby or the stars in this league, and if your not the least interested in sports. This website is eye candy - provided that you are a woman.
