Learning life lessons with karate spokesman
One day a friend came up and said: “Maybe you should try Isshinryu.” and I was like: “Sounds delicious, what’s it made of?”.
But I was wrong. It is nothing to eat, it is Sensei Jim Kelly’s full passion - karate. He teaches Isshiryu Karate at his academy.
On the academy’s website you are personally welcomed by the sensei and his daughter, who has been learning karate since the age of four.
She impressively shows her skills at the beginning of the online presentation as she uses punches and kicks untrained watchers could never execute unless they want to rip their ligaments.
After the demonstration Sensei Kelly tells you about his early experiences with karate, how and by whom he was trained and that karate is not only about kicking and screaming.
His students are between 6 and 60 and everybody who is willing to learn not only techniques, but lessons for life is invited to take a look at his dojo.
Kelly describes himself as a very tough teacher, yet dedicated to his work and his students, which is why such a web presentation is the perfect way to show his commitment and passion from the first second on.
