Chatbots
8. April, 2008 from Yaoti team
A chatbot is a program, which can simulate a conversation with one or several Internet users. The chatbot answers posed questions individually and independently. The communication takes place with the help of an input box, where questions can be typed in, and an output box, which displays the answers.
But how does this work?
The chatbot checks the posed question for keywords, browses a database for matching keywords and the forms a suitable answer. The chatbot is often combined with an avatar – this enhances the impression of a face to face communication.
