Honeywell, well known for environmental friendly applications, launched a new product and in the same step a new Microsite.
Smile, the all in one heating controller, is advertised by a well known face. The online spokesperson, who presented Centraline AX, Honeywell’s clima control system (see), we meet again on the Smile Microsite.
The use of the same face for several advertising campaigns enhances its recognition. The face is automatically associated with the company - a corporate face is created. One of the best examples where this concept is applied and has been working for many years is Mc Donalds and its face Ronald Mc Donald.
Honeywell’s video clip is once again integrated in a flash background. The presenter explains how the Smile system works, while illustrations are presented on a flip chart behind him. The whole production is a good example of modern film and editing techniques, combined with creative design and illustrations.
Corporate webvideos like this create an image your customers can relate to and identify your business with, giving big and anonymous companies a chance to develop personality. This goal is reached with the help of digital technology and the choice of the right face.
