Websites help to market products
Design plays an important role in our buying behavior. The outside and the design are crucial to the decision whether to buy a product or not. Consumers look for products which are functional and look good at the same time.
This rule applies to company websites, also. Successful online marketing requires appealing web design.
Design Homing is a web distributor of design products. You don’t have to look for ready made products here, everything is designed individually – and so is their website.

If you click on the button `Über Uns` - about us in the menu, a video is showing. The company’s product designer Claus Hencken appears as an internet spokesperson and welcomes the website visitors. The video gives the impression of Mr Hencken walking through a digital background directly towards the viewer.
But how do you create such an effect? The video of the product designer is recorded in a greenscreen studio and then keyed in the post production. The keyed clip is composed together with the background clip creating the impression both elements are part of the same clip.
The clip design is simple and elegant, following the concept the company applies for their design products. A good idea, and a possibility to welcome the digital audience personally.
